I’ve been taking a break from working out and my diet hasn’t been the best. I was just frustrated that the weight loss I wanted to happen, wasn’t happening the way I wanted it to, how fast I wanted it to go. Whatevs, I’ll just have to put my head down and keep going. Amazingly enough my weight hasn’t moved, disappointingly not in the direction I wanted, but not disappointingly in the way I don’t want it to. I’ve pretty much plateaued at 156 give or take some ounces. Monday May 26, 2014, I completed a one day Juice Fast. I also juiced for the majority of Tuesday, but had dinner. It was okay but I don’t think Juice Fasting is for me. I can get through most of the day but when dinner time hits, my body is ready for food. Plus, yes it’s expensive and though my Breville is okay, I don’t feel as though I get my money’s worth out of the fruits and veggies I juiced. I most certainly will be adding juicing into the mix of my everyday diet, along with Coconut Water again, and just continuing on with plain ole clean eating. I’ve also decided to be much more serious about having 1-2 liters of water everyday.
So basically my diet is pretty much the same as before but definitely improved on
- Whole fruit for breakfast (I don’t mind eggs once in a while or oatmeal but this is a most likely occurrence as I don’t really like cooking and fruit is easy, delicious, and I don’t have to cook)
- 1-2 Liters of Water everyday
- A bottle of Coconut Water everyday (or as much as I can afford or make it to the market for but if I don’t have any on hand, water it is!)
- I will be incorporating having a juice everyday, just one.
Everything else is the same really.
As far as exercise, I’ve been slacking off but I’m getting motivation again and getting the fire back. Weight loss really isn’t easy or fast but I’m going to continue trying my hardest to get the body I want, need, and deserve. Anything worth having, is worth fighting for and y dream body definitely is. So I’m still a circuit training/HIIT. It’s time to up it though and that’s just what I’m going to do.
Starting Monday, I’ll upping my workout times and making sure I’m getting in at least a half hour or more in.
