So far I have lost 42.6 LB on my own, down from the 200 LB (usually I hovered around 180-something but even that was starting to go up and then the freshman fifteen hit and hello 200 LBS!), I was when I stepped on my doctor’s scale and was presented with the horrible number I’d allowed my weight to balloon up too. From the 175.2 I weighed when I first started my journey, I lost 19 more pounds since then to the end of the last mont, which was May. I have 33 more pounds (of fat) I want to lose. June is a fresh start and I’m looking to hit some new weight loss goals.
CW: 157.4 (Currently I’m fluctuating between that and 156.4, which with being a pound difference isn’t really a big deal)
7:00 AM – took first pill ever!! (37.5 mg)
7:30 AM – So far feeling good.
7:45 AM – Energy! No to the point of shakes or jitters or anything that would indicate it’s too much energy but I’m definitely feeling energy, I want to call it good energy. I can run for a good while energy (which I will be doing tomorrow!!)
9:53 AM – Tummy growling! Time for food. Thank god I feel hungry. Although Phentermine is supposed to work as an appetite suppressant, that’s no what I’m looking for. I don’t feel an overwhelming need for food that only a diet pill (or gastric bypass) would curb.
11:46 AM – That energy feeling is coming down a bit. Thank God! I like it, like I said, I didn’t feel jittery or shaky but the alertness I felt and energy I was feeling was just something I’m not used to lol. I don’t feel like I’m crashing or that the energy has dissipated, rather leveled. I do like the fact that when I first take it, the energy level is a little spiked because I’m trying to work out in the mornings and that boost is really nice to have but as the day wears on it’s nice for it to level off. So this is only the first day but hopefully it’ll continue to be like this and I won’t experience any nasty side effects. This morning the only thing I felt was a little bit of cotton mouth (dry mouth) but that passes a long while ago. Also, and this doesn’t strictly pertain to me taking the phentermine though if you’re taking it (or any diet pill) you’re recommended to drink plenty of water, I’m also doing really well with drinking lots and lots of water.
6:48 PM – The day has gone on and the energy from the Phentermine has definitely come down more and leveled again. I don’t feel as, IDK alert I guess, as I was this morning or this afternoon. Which I like. The cotton mouth was short lived, I’m beginning to wonder a bit if that was in my mind or because I still hadn’t had enough to drink this morning lol. My breathing is fine, I’m experiencing no chest pains, no shortness of breath, no palpitations, nothing is going awry, which I’m extremely grateful for. I really want this to work for me. As far as food, Phentermine is supposed to work as an appetite suppressant but everyone is different. I’m experiencing more of a curbing than a full suppression which is something I’m also grateful for. I don’t feel I have a bad relationship food. I know my sweet tooth can still rear it’s head sometimes, but I don’t let myself fall off the wagon. I don’t plan on turning my life into a story of yo-yo dieting and me constantly letting myself go so far, only to step on the scale and beat myself up for taking 20 steps back. In all actuality, I greatly overt think what I’m eating, to the point of worrying myself to death. I’m trying to get over that and slowly let go of calorie counting. I don’t want to be a slave to that for the rest of my life either. Up next to look out for is insomnia. Hope I doge a bullet on this one too. If not I’ll update!
I do get hungry, and I mean actual hunger as my tummy starts to growl, but I do feel full pretty fast and I don’t feel the need to eat copious amounts. I’m also not craving sweets or
